Update: 11 months, 17 days and counting…
So the most recent news on the wedding has been quite a blow to us.
First we received good news at out Chicago engagement party that we would be going to England for a week and Ireland for a week as a Honeymoon…. AWESOME!
Then, this last weekend, we received terrible news that broke my heart in an instant. The venue we had planned on using for our wedding reception informed us that they no longer wanted to do it because they “have never done it before and don’t really want to start…”. The most unfortunate aspect of that last part is that we both work there. *Ugh…
So now the search for a good and affordable reception venue continues…. and it’s not looking very encouraging thus far…
